Honest Riches e-book review - from a newbie’s point of view.
Honest Riches by Holly Mann has been available online for quite sometime now and I have read at least a dozen reviews of the eBook, ALL saying positive things about Holly Mann’s Honest Riches eBook. I still haven’t found one that says otherwise.
When I came across Holly Mann’s “Honest Riches” e-book, I thought it was just another hyped eBook. What I did was to Google “Honest Riches” and read most of the reviews on the resulting pages.
Nowadays there are a lot of e-books to choose from; most saying they have found the secret on making a fortune online, but don’t really give a hint on how they did it. If you’re a newbie, you’d certainly get overwhelmed with information.
Holly Mann’s Honest Riches is not in the same category as the one I mentioned above. After finding out at least something about Honest Riches contents, I finally decided to purchase Holly Mann’s Honest Riches.
Honest Riches gives you a bird’s eye view of things you need to know and understand before you setup and launch you very own site. Having knowledge of these things way beforehand will certainly help in removing the guess work and trial and error that would certainly frustrate beginners with their first attempts in setting up a site and not getting results for their efforts. Honest Riches then proceeds to explain how to implement specific methods to achieve your goal.
Being a total newbie, when I first read Honest Riches, I was overwhelmed with terms like keywords, SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing, other net jargon and the need to prepare the basic foundation before eventually publishing your site.
Since I was a bit impatient with all the stuff, I skipped some of the tips outlined in Honest Riches. It was only after a few months or so that I realized my mistake. I needed to go back and re-evaluate everything and do it a little bit differently this time.
Honest Riches emphasis on good keyword research, SEO and backlinks is a must read for beginners. Not being aware of these things early on would definitely keep you running around in circles. That’s what I found out a bit late but hopefully will turn around soon.
In chapter two, Honest Riches gives the lowdown on what you need to know all about affiliate marketing. Chapter three of Honest Riches talks about research and niches you can get into.
Finding a niche on the net is not an easy task especially nowadays when the market is already flooded with me too webpages, e.g. “Honest Riches by Holly Mann - review”.
But for those who don’t have websites yet, don’t fret, chapter four of Honest Riches takes care of that. Those wanting to make money are able to do so with just a little elbow grease and about 5 tips from Honest Riches and you’re on your way.
Chapter five of Honest Riches talks about what you need to know about websites, the choices that are available and how to choose one that would suite your needs.
Holly’s Honest Riches also mentioned about open source in the next chapter. That really got me to learn Wordpress and after fiddling and working around with it for about two months, I finally was able to set up one. I also was able to learn HTML, CSS, javascript and PHP.
Although I’m not a master of these languages, Holly’s Honest Riches pointed me to the right direction and helped increase my confidence in tackling the very first obstacle any online biz person would eventually face, i. e. setting up and publishing your very first site. I wouldn’t have bothered to learn all of the above if I hadn’t read Honest Riches and to this day still wouldn’t know how to set up a site.
Honest Riches talks about specific strategies such as SEO, content, the need to have a list and ways to promote your site once it’s running. Chapter 7 thru 10 of Honest Riches explains all of that in detail.
I sometimes forget that there’s a ton of work to be done to make your site appear high up there in Google’s rankings. The same holds true if you want your site to work for you automatically, i.e. to get income streams flowing steadily.
Most online e-book sellers won’t tell you that. They only tell you about the outcome after the fact but not the blood sweat and tears you really have to undertake before achieving any success at all.
Other bonuses on Honest Riches are the instructions on how to make an eBook and the special tip Holly gave when selling on eBay.
In the last chapter of Honest Riches, Holly also gave a tip for those whose businesses are geared towards import, export and international trade events. I think this topic is generally targeted for those whose sites have storefronts similar to Amazon and the like.
Holly mentioned a free autoresponder on Honest Riches. Well, actually it’s free to use only for 30 days, after that you have to pay for the software.
That used to be the case maybe at the time Holly was writing Honest Riches but now, there are several open source autoresponders that do the same job as well. All you need to do is find one that’s easy to use and install.
One last note regarding Chapter 7 thru 9 of Honest Riches: Although Honest Riches explains the process in detail, a few good examples of how to do it exactly would have helped me understood the concept a little much faster.
SUMMARY:
Honest Riches by Holly Mann really gave me the knowledge and confidence to eventually take the first step to start my online journey. I know it won’t be easy. And just like any endeavor, success won’t come without proper preparation and hard work.
Having the right road map to point you to the right direction sure beats the hell out of not knowing what lies ahead. Taking the plunge and just hoping for the best certainly won’t cut it.
If you ask me if Holly’s Honest Riches delivered what was promised, I’ll tell you that I’ll give Holly Mann’s Honest Riches four out of five stars.
Being a newbie, Honest Riches surely opened up a lot of things that I may not have thought of or maybe even discovered on my own. I would surely like to hear comments from more advanced users and how they would rate Holly Mann’s Honest Riches eBook.
But overall, for this Honest Riches review, I think Holly delivered as promised.
