Welcome to PileCentral.com! I would just like to say a nice “Hello and Welcome” to everyone who happen to drop by this site. I’m using wordpress to manage my site. I’ve spent around a month or two learning this application and I’m still learning a lot especially on how to tweak certain parts of the page.
If you happen to notice certain changes during your succeeding visit, that’s just normal since this site is a work in progress, I’ll be doing a lot of tweaking as the need arises. I just hope I don’t crash the application.
I haven’t really decided on how to brand my site yet. But I think I will basically start with just journaling things that I’ve done in setting up this site as well as the free one I got earlier from Google, i.e. Anitobopper’s Kubo .
My only suggestion to anyone who is planning to set up a site is at least to learn some HTML, CSS, javascript and php. Wordpress is based in php so learning how it functions makes it easier for you to troubleshoot when something goes wrong with the page. There are several resources available in the wordpress site just check it out.
Previously, I had zero knowledge about setting up a site, zilch… nada…. making a web page and all that stuff. Learning things on my own takes quite a while but seeing that I’ve succeeded in my first attempt makes it all worthwhile. Anyone can do it, you just need a little patience and lots of practice.
Now, the next thing to do is to learn how to make the site work for me. Surely we’ve all heard about some guy whose made a living online and making it possible to leave his day job.
Wouldn’t it be nice working at home with just your jammies and getting paid as well? I’ll be talking about it and also about my own search on how these guys or gals succeeded in doing it in my following posts so watch out for it.
For starters, I chanced upon a blog post entitled, Make Money Online , I didn’t get the chance to get in touch with the owner but I just posted a comment regarding the topic he/she posted, it’s about making money on the internet.
It was basic, to the point and informative as well. No hard sell stuff. The site also has a variety of topics posted on it too. I took some notes on the tips and did some of those suggested. I drop in once in a while to look at the others’ comments and to note the updates he made. He added a couple of new tips from the last post.
Since this is my very first post, I’ll just keep it short for now.
Until next time…. See you soon.
