My dsl provider has been acting quite erratically for the past week, calling on their tech support; they said that the server in our area is being serviced for minor repairs. Well, always being at their mercy, only thing to do is grin and bear it. I wasn’t able to log on to their servers for a day.
I’d also like to mention that even though I reported the problem I’ll still receive my monthly billing in FULL. They don’t automatically deduct rebates unless you go to their office, write your complaint in full detail, jump through hoops, do a summersault and a split when you land.
With that running at the back of my mind, do you think I would still file for a rebate for a day of no internet connection? Well, what do you think?
Today, I was listening to my net radio http://www.finetune.com/user/AnitoBopper and noticed that the music being played kinda stuttered and wasn’t streaming as nicely as it did before. Being a little irritated, ok pissed, I decided to check my adsl speed.
I took tests on 3 different sites and here’s what I got:

Notice the result will vary depending on how near or far your provider is to the site that’s testing you. So if you want to check out your dsl broadband speed, check out any of the sites above.
